On the island:

In Guadeloupe, the only public transport means are taxis and busses.

Buses schedules and destinations revolve around the needs of the Guadeloupean population. There is a relatively high frequency in the early morning and evening to go and return from work. During the day, it can be more difficult. Tourist destinations inland are poorly or not served.

Hitch-hiking works relatively well.

Since your bare skin will not be able to stand the beach days after days, we recommand that you take a car rental for at least part of your stay

We have bought a Twingo (a small Fench car), and rent it to our guests for the following rates.
